This teaser trailer seen here is just a taste of what’s to come in 2013. The full trailer will be available to watch on GT.TV this Thursday, May 31st, at 10pm PST/1am EST. While the game was originally set to be released this fall, it’s since been delayed until early next year. Just like Bioshock: Infinite this comes as a big disappointment, however hopefully our interest in and excitement for this reboot of Tomb Raider will be renewed once the Full Trailer and more game play is available to see.
Crystal Dynamics’ studio head Darrell Gallagher was quoted saying
“We’re doing things that are completely new to Tomb Raider in this game and the additional development time will allow us to put the finishing touches into the game and polish it to a level that you deserve. We believe this is the right choice and I guarantee it will be worth the wait.”
Hopefully there’s MUCH truth to this statement, and we won’t be disappointed!
