Recently in a live stream of the new Modern Warfare 3 ELITE DLC, Creative Strategist at Infinity Ward, Robert Bowling was asked questions relating to the recently patched Prestige token glitch.
During the conversation he mentioned how they had the technology to constantly track and find people who had taken advantage of the glitch because they had an abnormal amount of prestige tokens, he also mentioned that he did not want Modern Warfare 3 to turn into Modern Warfare 2 where hackers would ruin the game for others.
This new technology that allows Infinity Ward to finally ban players properly seems to be converting Infinity Ward to a better stance towards hackers and glitchers, and while Modern Warfare 3 isn’t perfect, at least it isn’t Modern Warfare 2.
