Why Rainbow 6: Patriots Was A No Show At E3
At E3 2012 we saw many great games, some announced and some unannounced, however one game we didnt see that you would most likely expect to be there was Rainbow 6: Patriots since we have only seen some concept gameplay.
Luckily Ubisoft exec Tony Key told IGN that the game was “still in active development”. ”What we decided was that the best thing for the brand was to not bring it to the show right now,” Key explained.
Key explained that the no-show was mainly because of the jam-packed games they already had such as Assassins Creed 3 and the recently announced Watch Dogs. ”We have a lot of other games that we want to focus people on and there will be more information on Rainbow coming.” He also added that the game is still currently slated for this generation of consoles. ”This is the only generation that I know about, so I would assume yes.”
