Masahiro Sakurai on Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS : “Please Be Patient”
Masahiro Sakurai has talked a little bit on the much anticipated game.
In a recent interview with Nintendo Power, the co-creator of Kirby and director of Kid Icarus Uprising, talked a little about his upcoming game for Wii U and what he thought when he found out that he was developing the game at last year’s E3.
At E3 2011 in the showing of Nintendo’s new console the Wii U, Nintendo global president Satoru Iwata announced that the next entry of Super Smash Bros. was being developed by the Sora Team of Sakurai. A great announcement for the audience that keeps the talk even today. But a surprise move from the point of view of Sakurai.
“We’ve just taken what you could call the first step of the process. This is the first time I’ve ever had my next project announced before it’s even entered development, and because of that, I fear that players will be forced to wait even longer than they expect to. Please be patient.”
So be patient people. What do you want from the next Smash Bros.? When do you expect Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS to come out? Do you think it was rushed from Iwata to announce the game, when it wasn’t even started development?
