Wii U Priced At £199.99 At Amazon UK, Coming July 14th 2012
According to well-known online retailer Amazon UK, the Wii U will cost £199.99 and will be coming on July 14th.
This is quite odd since the price is listed is a far cry from the £279 – £300 price range we have been hearing. Amazon UK is quite a reliable source and while we cannot prove that the date is real the info seems far too detailed to be a placeholder.
A summer release for the Wii U has not even been considered since everyone has been assuming that the console will be coming sometime in the holiday season, which would make sense however we will have to wait and see.
The device is currently up for pre-order which makes us wonder whether the console will actually be coming out next month. With no reveal of the release date or price of the Wii U at E3 it seems unlikely however could a mistake such as large as this be made?

It appears that the listing has been removed and anyone who ordered it has had their order cancelled. Apparently the listing was made as an error sadly therefore anyone who order the console has had their order cancelled and they have not been charged. Read Here.
