Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation (Vita) Revealed Brand New Details
With Assassins Creed 3′s release coming soon, many fans were wondering whether the game would also be coming to the PS Vita, this was then confirmed when the game on the PS Vita was spotted on Zavvi.
Now it appears that the latest issue of GameInformer Magazine has the first couple of details and here they are:
•Its out same day as Asassins Creed 3 (oct30)
•Female assassin named Aveline of mixed heritage (French/Black)
•Looks like same time period as AC3
•Ubisoft sofia is devolping
•Takes place during 1765-1780 in the period between the end of the french and indian war
•One of the bullet points is that it’s “true AC gameplay”
•Will not connect to Desmond
•Will have “multiplayer specifically tailored to the vita experience”
•”The game has been released as a propaganda tool by Abstergo,who want players to experience a gray area of the Assassin/Templar conflict as an assassin rather than a templar”
•Aveline’s mentor is an escaped slave named Agate,leader of the assassins in New Orleans
•Wildlife like alligators “wait on the banks of the swamp or hide beneath murky waters”
•Liberation will also take players across the Gulf into Mexico”
•Game will take place in “Large gameplay areas,you can run,climb,fight,and explore the entirety of New Orleans without loading a new area.”

FUCK YEAH!!!! Truth be told, I am not an ASC fan per se, I have so many other games to play that I choose to ignore ACS. It simply wont work for me on a console, but having a high production valued, polished game with tactile controls adapted for the Vita is a must play…
Other games I might not buy for console (moderately interested but not an immediate must have like Dark Souls or Gears of war) includes Street Fighter X Tekken, Final Fantasy 10 (can work for Vita but would never replay my favored RPG on the PS3), the oddworld games..
The VIta has such potential…….but the software lineup while diverse has no killer apps!

If they aren’t doing an AC3 port then they should have at least made this game set in a much different and interesting setting, such as Japan, South America, or England.
I previously played AC Brotherhood and rocked. had so much fun kicking ass. now i gotta get this to see what this is about.
