Yesterday was a conflict, today is a battlefield, tomorrow is a war…

war Yesterday was a conflict, today is a battlefield, tomorrow is a war...

We lounge after many hectic days, sometimes find an hour to play on whatever console we have, doesn’t matter the preference you choose, they all have something to show, do not forget that what we play today is built and based on an older model and some have been here before our parents, they deserve our respect, if we go back ten years and we see what looks really old, at that time it would have been genius even changing technology forever and no one has room for them anymore, that makes me dizzy.

Remember the time we thought games like pong were the height of tech, well I look at something now I step back, take it all in, its remarkable and scary were we are now, we seem to be increasing the speed of improvements and hurtling towards… well the unknown, what we forget about is huge, out with the old in with the new, it should be, remember the bold and creative no matter the age, we might need them someday.

Its nice when a game is like a Tarantino or a Scorsese, something special its like the developers get us for a brief moment, the games we buy we like to feel like we are the only one who has it,  this sounds a little intense but why not everyone has something they like above everything else, but should we be in competition with everything we do, from fitness to high scores, I don’t think its healthy in fact its dangerous, we just don’t let up, it’s because we are savages by heart, animals deep down no matter how hard we work are brain or thumbs.

Our intelligence is shared in decency, that’s how you know if someone is truly made up top, you can talk IQ all day, if you have not even got the answers to simple things such as courtesy or friendship, you don’t deserve the answers, if we didn’t know these in common knowledge we would be ripping each other apart literally.

We play alot and I mean alot of games all types, i could play an RPG a racer or an indie game, as long as there’s some degree of intelligence to it, even games that seem really silly probably have the biggest brains behind them.

I love a sandbox world, basically because you can explore and see what world is running through the developers mind.

Everyday, a game is finished, a game is played, a game is scrutinised the cycle continues, whether its gameplay or the appearance, we love to destroy, some of the details impress us but we rarely mention those.

People who buy the game and then criticise for kicks, send independent game teams crashing, for instance if Call Of Duty got a bad review it would not affect figures, people would still buy it, but if a smaller upcoming developer made a game, but the wrong person reviews it who doesn’t see either side of the coin, it may affect sales and stop that person making future hits, I don’t necessarily like certain games but that wont make me write something awful about it, instead ill state that I don’t like this category so my opinions might sound biased.

So i ask if you play a game and write about it, don’t try to ruin its reputation just tell the truth of what was going through your head whilst playing, or at least find some highs and lows, something to debate about, no matter what there is always bad and good, if you don’t like a game you can’t change it, so there’s no point continuously ranting.

We should all be able to pitch in, like a gaming dragons den, it’s just having the connections to make it happen, millions of us out there with endless ideas just waiting to be picked like ripe fruit.

Now a days people are just buying and trading constantly, i might be one of the few people to have had all my games since buying the console, I like to have a set complete in case I ever get the gnawing at the back of my head to play through them again, obviously its silly to keep what isn’t very good in your own opinion, but some games have so much packed in their definitely worth keeping.

For any game to be considered a gem it must be valuable but not in the traditional sense, value that cannot be slapped with a number, must have affected your emotions at some point and you love it enough to play it again and pretend like you never have, or to imagine yourself as that character or in his/her role, this game should have a lasting effect on you after you have stopped playing.

Do you ever pass something that makes you wish you had taken a longer look or that you should have slowed down because it stood out, well that’s what we are doing now, we are rushing so much that we would miss the end of the world even if it hit us directly in the face.

Things need to change before we ourselves are android, my unique far fetched view on the world, thanks if you read it ;) if not you should.
